Assassin's Creed Shadows may be headed to the Nintendo Switch 2, according to some new comments made by Ubisoft executives. Plenty of third-party titles have already made their way to Nintendo's new console, with plenty more scheduled to drop throughout 2025 and beyond. Now, players wanting to take Assassin's Creed Shadows with them on the go via the hyped hybrid console may soon have the chance.

Despite facing controversy over the title's main character and criticism regarding its narrative and repetitive gameplay, Ubisoft recently confirmed that Assassin's Creed Shadows had hit a huge player milestone, with five million users diving into the game in its first four months. With an average OpenCritic score of 81, the game has been applauded for its rich open world and stealth elements more reminiscent of earlier games in the franchise. Now, Assassin's Creed Shadows may be headed to a new platform soon, giving even more players a chance to embark on Naoe and Yasuke's adventure through 16th-century Japan.
