Around halfway through the Creamy Canyon stage, Astro Bot players will find an ice sculpture of a seal with a Puzzle Piece nearby. This seal statue hides one of the game's many secrets, although players won't be able to break it by punching it, no matter how hard they try.
Every Stage in Astro Bot (All Planets List)
Every stage in Astro Bot provides its own challenges, forcing players to think outside the box or make use of unique power-ups.
At first, it seems like it might be possible to gradually nudge the ice seal off of its plinth, but this strategy won't work either. As a result, Astro Bot players will need to find another way to break the ice seal if they want to gain access to the secret area that's hidden down beneath it.
How to Break the Ice Seal in Astro Bot's Creamy Canyon Stage
In order to break the ice seal in Creamy Canyon, players should continue through the course until they come to a pig-like enemy that charges at them. If they jump over it when it charges at them, they'll be able to get behind the pig and grab its tail, thus allowing them to swing it around and throw it like a shotput.
The intended strategy here is to throw the pig at the nearby wall of ice and then continue on toward the exit, but if players turn around, they'll be able to throw the pig enemy at the ice seal to break it. Players can then use the ladybug enemy to get up to where the seal statue was to find a blue X on the ground.
If players stand on the blue X and hold the Square button, Astro will charge up a spinning punch. Players can then take their finger off of the button, which will cause Astro to burrow into the ground. In this new area, players will find a silver planet with a cable coming out of the bottom of it hanging from the ceiling.
Players should pull the cable, which will cause the ball to open and a platform to appear. If they then step on the platform, Astro will be warped to a secret stage in the Lost Galaxy, where he can find more Bots and Puzzle Pieces. It's one of ten secret exits that can be found throughout Astro Bot, all of which will be required for those hoping to 100% complete the game.
