In Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, there are hundreds of materials and resources to find, and they're all equally as important. While some are useful for Synthesis, others make it possible to craft utility items and furniture on the Workbench.

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories and the Envisioned Land Review

Despite a few growing pains, Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories and the Envisioned Land is a worthwhile entry in the long-running franchise.

In the early game, Iron is a particularly sought-after material because it allows players to craft Regular Ammo and Energy Generators. So, gamers will want to make sure that they know everything about finding Iron in Atelier Yumia so they never run out.

In Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, players will find Iron inside rocks. While there are various rocks that can be broken to gather this resource, there is one that is much easier to find in the overworld and is guaranteed to drop Iron - Crystals.

While Crystals drop Crystal Shards as their main resource, they also always drop Iron. To find Crystal in Atelier Yumia and obtain Iron, players must head to any rocky area or climb cliffs. Crystals are easy to identify in the world due to their light blue hue, which causes them to stand out right away.

The area east of the Atelier has tall cliffs littered with Crystal rocks.

How to Get Iron in Atelier Yumia

To get Iron in Atelier Yumia, gamers must approach a breakable rock, such as a Crystal, and hit the button that appears on-screen once they're close to it. This will cause Yumia to swing her weapon and break it open, allowing players to collect everything it drops.

Players may also find Iron by breaking open rocks other than Crystals, but in the early game, these are the most common rocks that drop Iron. While the item that the rock drops will appear next to it before breaking it, resources will not be displayed. Therefore, players must memorize which rocks contain Iron.
