When exploring Atomfall's Interchange for the first time, you'll encounter more than a few locked doors to get past. While many require Atomic Batteries to unlock them, others require specific keys and deeper exploration to open them. One such door you'll likely come across right at the Slatten Dale entrance to Atomfall's Interchange is the Site Office, which is locked up tight. Consequently, you'll need to track down the location of the Site Office Key if you want to open it and see what's inside, with many of the game's locked areas leading to valuable loot and information.

Atomfall: Crane Control Keycard Location

In Atomfall, there's a crane in The Interchange that helps open up a shortcut to Skethermoor. Here's where you can find the keycard to operate it.

However, to get the Site Office Key in Atomfall, you'll need to make some progress in the game to unlock more of the Interchange and gain some invaluable equipment. If you're struggling with where to find the Site Room Key and what you must do to get it, this guide has you covered.

Where To Find The Site Office Key In Atomfall (Site Office Key Location)

Once you've found Atomfall's Interchange via Slatten Dale, you can find a locked-up building near the entrance on the left called the Site Office. However, to get the Site Office Key, you'll need to do a bit of groundwork by first restoring the power to the Central Processor and Data Store Delta in the Interchange using one of Atomfall's various Atomic Batteries.

It's also crucial to get hold of a Signal Redirector before you progress any further, so make sure you have one before proceeding.

How To Get Into Robotics And Restore Power To The Robotics Lower Level

After you've powered up Data Store Delta, this opens access to the Robotics area of the Interchange, as shown on the map above. To get into Robotics, carefully navigate the patrolling B.A.R.D robot and turrets inside the first area of Data Store Delta and head through the door ahead labeled 'Robotics.' You don't have to fight the robot if you can sneak past without taking too much firepower damage.

Once inside Robotics, you'll need to use the Signal Redirector to the below orange wall panels to re-route the power and open the massive gray door at the end of the room labeled 'Lower Level,' which has a lock release with no power. You can find and re-route the power by scanning and hacking the yellow panels on the wall in the following areas of the room, as detailed below and pictured above:

  • Through the window right of the Robot Assembly room, accessed by standing on the wooden box inside, with a series of separate yellow panels on the wall to re-route leading to the Lower Level door.
  • Through the window left of the Power Control Beta room, with another set of yellow wall panels to re-route inside and just outside the room.
  • Pulling the two Wing Power Control switches, one inside Robot Assembly and another inside Power Control Beta.

Following the steps above restores power but triggers an electric field around the Lower Level door. To fix it, carefully jump on the crates and platforms in front of the Lower Level door and use the Signal Redirector on the wall panel on the left of it to turn off the electricity. You can now press the lock release to open the door to the Lower Levels, which is where you need to travel through to find the Site Office Key.

Those looking to get inside the B.A.R.D. Safe Room in Atomfall will first need to acquire the B.A.R.D. Safe Room Key. Here's where it can be found.

How To Find The Construction Site Through The Robotics Lower Level (Site Office Key Location)

Once unlocked, head down the slope to enter the Lower Levels of Robotics, using the Signal Redirector on the yellow panel to restore power to the door ahead, opening up the Robotics Maintenance room with more B.A.R.D. Robots and Turrets. To get past, you'll want to head through the orange 'Control Room' door on the far right of the room, as pictured above. Once safely inside, continue until you find and follow the smoky, circular tunnel that takes you to another area of the Interchange.

Following the tunnel takes you to a ruined area of the Interchange which seems to be the location of the Construction Site just below the Site Office, where the Site Manager reportedly took the Site Office Key. Continue straight ahead to find the Site Office Key on a corpse inside the middle of a group of deadly Feral enemies, as pictured above. Most activate when you approach, so be ready to take them out from a distance as quickly as possible and loot the Site Office Key from the corpse when safe to do so, as shown in the video below:

Site Office Location Shortcut And Loot In Atomfall

Unlocking the Site Office in Atomfall

After you've grabbed the Site Office Key from the Construction Site by the Robotics Lower Level, it's time to return to the Site Office near the entrance to the Interchange, which you can access via a shortcut by traveling up the nearby ladder where you found it and opening the gate above, as shown in the video below.

You can then open either of the two Site Office doors by using the Site Office Key to get inside and find the following Site Office loot and collectibles, with the main prize being a case containing a Training Stimulant and Combat Stim Recipe, as also shown in the video and listed below:

  • SMG Ammo
  • Scrap
  • Gun Oil
  • Glass Tumbler
  • A Finding on the wall called "A Sea Change At Seascale?"

That's everything to know about where to find the Site Office Key in Atomfall, but there are many more doors to unlock in the Interchange as you explore the area further and get to the bottom of what's happening.
