Rebellion's post-apocalyptic RPG Atomfall is very different from the studio's previous catalog of games, especially its most well-known series Sniper Elite. In Atomfall, players are tasked to survive and investigate a sectioned-off area of northern England that was quarantined following a mysterious atomic disaster that's based on real-life events.
10 Things We Know About Atomfall
There are many noteworthy aspects to Rebellion's post-apocalyptic adventure to be aware of.
The game is set to launch in late March, but if you get one of the Atomfall special editions, you can play Atomfall early and get a host of in-game and physical rewards. This guide details the contents of all Atomfall special editions, including pre-order bonuses, and answers the question of whether the Atomfall Deluxe & Quarantine Editions are worth it.
All Atomfall Pre-order Bonuses
- Atomfall Pre-Order Price: $49.99
For preordering the standard edition of Atomfall, players won't get Atomfall advanced access or unlock the Wicked Isle story expansion pack when it launches at a yet-to-be-revealed date. However, pre-ordering Atomfall standard edition will grant a nifty little Basic Supply Bundle.
This bundle grants several in-game items including a unique melee weapon variant, a useful item recipe, and more caches to locate out in the world. These caches contain ammo and crafting materials and can be helpful as you learn to traverse the dangerous world of Atomfall.

While you must pre-order the Standard Edition to get the Basic Supply Bundle, this item bundle is included for free with the Deluxe Edition of the game, even if you upgrade after it launches.

Is Atomfall Deluxe Edition Worth It?
Ultimately, the question of whether Atomfall's special editions are worth the cost depends on how much of a Rebellion fan you are, and how much you end up liking Atomfall.
The extra in-game goodies of the Pre-Order and Deluxe Editions of Atomfall are handy, but not required to beat the game, though access to the Atomfall DLC could be a good incentive if you do plan to stick with the game for a long time.
If you are pretty sure you will be playing Atomfall for a long time, it's probably not a bad idea to get the Deluxe Edition for $69.99 – especially considering that's how much many standard games cost nowadays. You'll be able to play early, get the DLC later on, and have a bunch of items to get you started on the right foot.
The Quarantine Edition is a bit of a tougher sell. At $89.99, it's quite expensive, but the physical rewards (T-Shirt) and access to a variety of digital rewards could be very enticing for diehard Atomfall fans. However, it is a PC-exclusive bundle.
If you plan to play Atomfall on a console, you will have to stick with the Deluxe Edition bundle and forego the T-Shirt and digital rewards – unless you don't mind paying the higher cost for these unique rewards and a Steam key you won't use.
