Where to Find the Dam Storeroom Key in Atomfall

Casterfell Dam is one area of Atomfall's map that you'll likely visit several times, but it can be easy to stroll past its locked Dam Storeroom witthout noticing. It can also be easy to miss the Dam Storeroom Key, which blends cleverly into the environment and will take a bit of exploration to find. While you don't need to travel too far to find the key, it can feel like looking for a needle in a haystack. However, finding the Dam Storeroom Key in Atomfall can lead you to a handy collection of loot that you could potentially miss while focusing on other objectives.

If you've searched Casterfell Dam high and low but are still struggling, here's a detailed walkthrough on how to get the Dam Storeroom Key in Atomfall.

Dam Storeroom Key Location in Atomfall

On reaching Casterfell Dam, located north of Casterfell Woods, you can find a small building left of the main entrance called the Storeroom at points 20.8E, 90.1N. As pictured above, the Storeroom has two door entrances that require the Dam Storeroom Key in order for players to unlock them. As you might expect, the key is nowhere in sight, so you'll need to explore Casterfall Dam more to find it.

Specifically, you can find the Dam Storeroom Key inside the building with the staircase on the right side of the Dam, as shown above. Head past the Dam electric fences and enter the building with the external steps pictured.

The Dam Storeroom Key is located on a square panel on the wall in the room on the second floor, as shown in the video above, which you'll find precisely at position 22.4E, 91.2N on the map. It can be easy to miss the key, as the wall panel blends well into the surrounding shadows of the room. The text collectible prompt also only shows when you are standing right next to the key.

Depending on where you are in Atomfall's story, you may have already looted the room containing the Dam Storeroom Key. If not, you can also pick up some other goodies in the same room and on the first floor, including a finding called "Our Highest Priority," Pistol Ammo, and Cloth.

Dam Storeroom Loot in Atomfall

Atomfall Dam Storeroom B.A.R.D Crate loot

Once you've grabbed the Dam Storeroom Key, you can return to the Storeroom and unlock it to find an orange B.A.R.D. Crate containing a Training Stimulant and some other possible loot, such as Iodine and SMG Ammo, which is the main find. It's also possible to find other loot inside the Storeroom, such as:

Glass Bottles
Cloth
Rifle Ammo

On leaving the building, you can use the Dam Storeroom Key to unlock the second door to the Storeroom, too. There are also keys to find close to Casterfell Dam as you progress in the game, including the B 887126 Control Room key.
