Atomic Heart has two ways to obtain new weapons and modifiers: Finding them in random locations or crafting them by blueprints. The latter is a sustainable way of stuffing the inventory as it grants an unlimited amount of a specific gun or tool as long as there are enough resources. But how should players find the blueprints? This explainer reveals all Atomic Heart blueprint locations to help with that.
All Weapon Blueprints’ Locations
To find all 12 weapon blueprints, loot the chests in Vavilov Complex. Players who’ve already exited the complex still have the chance to get the gun plans. But they must investigate random chests in the open world map for that.

The blueprint spawns in Atomic Heart have a specific order. But their locations are randomized. In other words, players are not guaranteed to find the exact blueprint they’re looking for in these locations. But they will eventually unlock all as a part of the main quest line.
All Modifier Blueprints’ Locations
Modifier blueprints let players upgrade weapons or craft ammunition. Like weapon blueprints, the only way to acquire them is by looting chests, and there is no guarantee to get a specific one as the rewards are random.
Here are the best locations to look for modifier blueprints.

What to Do with Blueprints in Atomic Hearts?
Use the blueprints to craft weapons, ammo, and modifiers (weapon upgrades). For that, visit any NORA vending machines in the safe rooms and open the crafting menu. But note that each blueprint requires different resources—or ingredients. Players can only build the ones that say “Sufficient Resources.”
Atomic Heart is available now for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
