Atomic Heart is an action-adventure game by Mundfish that features deadly robots and mutants for players to fight off. But that's not all; players must also use their wit to solve confusing puzzles as they progress through the game.
One of these puzzles is The Boiler Room puzzle, which can be a potential hurdle for players and frustrate many. This puzzle tasks players with cooling down the overheated boilers. This detailed walkthrough will help players solve The Boiler Room puzzle in Atomic Heart.
The Boiler Room Puzzle Guide
After players power up the elevators in the Not So Fast, Major quest, Atomic Heart presents them with The Boiler Room puzzle, also called the "Into the Fire" quest. In this puzzle, players encounter 3 overheating boilers that must be cooled down using the Fahrenheit dispenser.
To avoid interruption while working out the puzzle, get rid of the Lab tech robots roaming around the room. Stun them with the shock attacks first and kill them using any weapon of choice afterward. Once there are no more distractions, look for Fahrenheit - the special candles in the room. These candles contain the Cryo-Polymer cooling liquid that can bring down the temperature of the boilers and cool them off.
Lift one of the candles using Telekinesis and load it in the chute. There is a high chance of more tech robots appearing from nowhere every time players insert the candle into the chute. However, a powerful weapon, such as Zvezdochka, is enough to deal with these troublemakers. After taking down the pesky robots, get back to the process of loading candles in the chute. As the candle slides down in the chute, it can sometimes get stuck, so players need to guide the candle carefully down the tube using Telekinesis.
Boiler 1
Guide the Fahrenheit down until there is a T-junction. Turn right and keep leading the candle until reaching another junction, then turn right to drop the candle into the boiler. This will cool down the first boiler. Lift another candle and get to the boiler 2.
Boiler 2
Just like with the first candle, guide the second candle down but turn left from the first T-junction. Keep guiding it toward the left without moving it elsewhere. Lastly, cross the second T-junction and deposit the candle into boiler 2.
Boiler 3
Cooling down the third boiler is relatively challenging, requiring the players to take multiple turns with the candle. Guide the Fahrenheit down and drop it into the first junction. Now turn left and keep guiding it in that very direction, and after crossing two more T-junctions, drop it into the boiler to solve The Boiler Room puzzle.
