Niccolo
From Showing Pure Hatred To Falling In Love
For many Marleyans, the hatred for Paradis and its people is deep-rooted in history, blaming the King of the Titans and subjects of Ymir for centuries of torture and oppression, with Niccolo, a Marleyan, being brought up to detest Eldians. Captured onboard a Marleyan ship on the coast of Paradis, Niccolo is held captive on the island, cooking for its inhabitants, showing hatred for their Eldian kind. However, Niccolo learns to see that not all Eldians are a detriment to society, with Niccolo becoming enamored with Sasha Braus, a gleeful and comical girl from the Scout Regiment who devoured Niccolo's food without second thought.
Niccolo's relationship with Sasha alters his worldview, and he finally comes to understand that the world is not as black and white as his upbringing suggested. Niccolo, while having his opinions swayed, enacts his rage over Sasha's death on Gabi Braun after learning of her involvement in her murder. Niccolo's regret over his actions in hurting Falco Grice leads to the cook divulging the plan for Zeke Yeager's spinal fluid to be drunk by the officers of Paradis, with Niccolo going on to defend the Braus family from any potential danger as the war comes to a head.
Theo Magath
Head Of Warrior Program Begrudingly Joins Up With Marley's Enemies
At the head of the Warrior Candidate Program in Marley is the commander, Theo Magath, an army veteran eager to see the demise of Paradis. As one of the heads of Marley's armies, Magath, while having formal relationships with Eldians such as Zeke, placed much blame on the Eldians for the atrocities of history, with Magath finding them to be expendable to secure Marley's future. Upon leading the counter-attack on Paradis, which ultimately fails, leading to the Rumbling, Magath, the patriot and traditionalist, while partnered with Pieck Finger, comes across an out-of-sorts Levi Ackerman and Hange Zoë, the leaders of the scouts.
The duos, though formerly on opposing sides, soon become allies, bringing many players into their plans as they realize the best course of action is to stop Eren's genocide. Magath, though still showing his disdain for the people of Paradis, puts aside his differences to help the allied forces escape the island, with Magath sacrificing his life with the aid of Keith Shadis, dying side by side with the enemy to save the world from annihilation.

Cart Titan Soon Teams Up With Hange And Co
Pieck, the Cart Titan, while an enemy, worked for Marley as one of their warriors, showing much compassion and care, a trait not generally associated with villains. First emerging in the Battle of Shiganshina District, Pieck rescues Zeke from the clutches of the soldiers of Paradis, giving a glimpse into her mobile titan ability. When the Rumbling begins, in times of desperation, Pieck, Magath, and other Eldian Marleyeans soon team up with Eren's closest friends, intent on halting the Rumbling from destroying the world.

Despite their initial hatred for each other, Pieck soon finds herself fighting alongside Armin, Jean Kirstein, and others to eliminate Eren. After the Rumbling's end and Eren's demise, Pieck is soon shown to be working alongside her former enemies in trying to rebuild society, becoming allies with Connie Springer, Jean, and Armin.

Upon her introduction, Gabi, the cousin of Reiner Braun, an Eldian Marleyan who is shown to be a significant force amongst her age group as a warrior candidate, becomes intent on gaining the power of the Armored Titan, her cousin's position, to destroy Paradis and their so-called Island Devils, and gain honor for her family. Eren and his comrades' ambush assault on Liberio prompts Gabi to take matters into her own hands, sneaking aboard their airship, where she fatally shoots Sasha, killing a valued member of the Scout Regiment.
Gabi's imprisonment and time spent on Paradis slowly start to shift her perspective, with her involvement with the Braus household leading to her protecting the family when the war arrives at their feet. On the mission to kill Eren and end the Rumbling, Gabi plays her role, utilizing a rifle while on the back of Falco's Titan, a tall task for such a young girl.
Zeke Yeager
Beast Titan That Terrorizes Paradis Soon Aids The Nation To Achieve His Goal
One of AOT's most prominent and essential characters in the ever-revealing narrative is that of Zeke, the half-brother of the protagonist, Eren. Known as the famed Beast Titan, Zeke's introduction in season 2 sent shockwaves through Paradis, with Zeke's intellect and devastating power being the downfall of hundreds of lives. In the Battle of the Shiganshina District, the Beast Titan destroys and shatters the Scout Regiment with ease, throwing rocks and terrain, picking off recruits with deadeye precision.
After almost succumbing to his demise from the threat of Levi, Zeke retreats, not before working together with Paradis through third parties, including Yelena and the Azumabito. Known as standoffish and isolated, the hardened Annie's attempts to capture Eren lead to her reveal as the Female Titan. Before being taken into custody, Annie hardens herself inside a crystal shell, stalling the investigation into the Titans and the true enemies of Paradis.

One of the most complex and broken characters throughout AOT is that of Reiner, the Armored Titan, who goes undercover in the Scout Regiment alongside Bertolt Hoover after the massacre they commit in the Shinganshina District, resulting in Eren's mother's death. Their tenure working to find the Founding Titan almost proved successful while incognito. However, the Scouts manage to save Eren from the clutches of Reiner and Bertolt as they sought to flee.
Reiner would soon return to take on his former comrades in the Battle of Shiganshina District, almost perishing in the process. Reiner, throughout his trials and tribulations that corrupt and damage his health and psyche, soon comes to fight alongside his former comrades Connie, Mikasa, Armin, and Jean in the final stages, accomplishing the goal of killing Eren and the Rumbling, with Reiner's journey being more complex than most.
