New content from Attack on School Castes – the post-credit scene of Attack on Titan the Movie: The Last Attack – was recently unveiled! The movie premiered in Japanese theaters in November, and is still screening in 4DX and MX4D theaters.

The Last Attack is a compilation of the Final Season Parts 3 and 4 with additional footage, including the School Caste segment, which is unrelated to the main plot.

What Is Attack on School Castes?

Attack on School Castes is a short story parody of Attack on Titan featured in the final pages of the manga volumes, starting with Volume 21. It portrays the main characters as ordinary people of our world.

In Last Attack, Eren, Mikasa and Armin make comments after watching the movie, which they all enjoyed. While some people might think this is odd, there are other media portraying the characters as ordinary people, like Attack on Titan: Junior High and its sequel, Attack on Titan: High School.

Since Junior High has been adapted into anime, some fans still hope that School Caste will eventually get a proper adaptation – considering they are heavily promoting this part of the movie, they might be checking how the audience reacts in order to decide if it is worth investing in a short anime for School Caste.

The Last Attack Hits US Theaters This Month

Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK is set to debut this month in the US. However, it will not be a typical release: it will be a one-day only screening on February 10. Tickets are on sale now, and there will be dubbed and subbed screenings.

The movie will also be released in other countries by Sony and Crunchyroll, but it seems that other regions will not follow the one-day only format. It is likely that the movie will be added to Crunchyroll some time later.
