Tatsuki Fujimoto's masterpiece officially received a new movie recently, and every fan who's watched it already is singing praises. The premise may be different, but Chainsaw Man is officially an anime that all Attack on Titan fans must check out.

Right off the bat, fans of Attack on Titan will see similarities between the two, absolutely they'd be right to believe that just their favorite series, Chainsaw Man also explored many themes surrounding violence and survival. Attack on Titan, despite being a Shonen series, was always seen by many fans to be more mature than most anime series. Chainsaw Man carries a similar vibe, and in many ways, it's even more mature than Attack on Titan.
Chainsaw Man officially received an anime adaptation in 2021, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. That said, it boomed in popularity as a manga. More than that, Chainsaw Man has now taken the world by storm again and that's all thanks to the movie adaptation of the Reze Arc that recently debuted. The Reze movie is the second biggest anime movie of the year, after Infinity Castle, and more than that, it is actually even going head-to-head with Infinity Castle in some regions.

It wouldn't be a stretch to say that the Reze movie is the best animated movie of 2025, and even though it will lose out to Infinity Castle overall, it is a much better visual spectacle with a moving story that fans can't help but love, and that's what makes it the Attack on Titan of 2025.

Fans now know that this series is worth investing time in, and that it'll end up being one of the most successful anime of recent times. In every way, the Chainsaw Man franchise has experienced a rebirth, and one can only hope that they build upon this popularity and deliver even better adaptations for the rest of the story.
