I have been playing games for longer than I can remember, with some of my earliest memories involving sitting in front of a screen with a controller in hand.

I worked as a Gaming Sub-editor for my university newspaper last year, and have since moved on to become Head of Culture, overseeing a variety of sections including Gaming.

The PS2 and the Wii were the first home consoles I ever owned, and are where some of my fondest gaming memories are held.

Sonic Heroes, Celeste, Devil May Cry 5, NieR Replicant + Automata, Titanfall 2 and Overwatch to name a few.

Proudest Gaming Achievement

Clearing all floors in DMC 5's "Bloody Palace" mode with both Dante and Nero was definitely one of the toughest challenges I've faced in a game, requiring so much focus and strategy for me to get through.

I often like to make my own challenges for myself in games, though, whether that be getting the game to 100% completion or speedrunning stages for hours on end.
