Cathlyn Melo is an experienced anime writer from the Philippines with a Master in Business Administration. She was once a hospital employee before deciding to pursue her passion for anime and manga following a life-changing trip to Japan. She intends to relocate to Japan in the future to fully immerse herself in the country's rich culture. 

When she’s not watching anime or reading manga, she enjoys building Legos and nanoblocks to unwind. She also enjoys attending cosplay and toy conventions, where she spends much of her hard-earned money on nendoroids and other toy figurines. She also has two TikTok accounts where she discusses anime and shows her love in building blocks and blind bags. 

Before joining TheBestWarGames, she worked for Epicstream's anime section for nearly three years, covering anything anime-related, including news, features, and listicles. 

Favorite Anime

Cathlyn's favorite anime of all time is Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. She also enjoys watching her favorite sports anime, Haikyuu.Her guilty pleasure anime is none other than the anime adaptation of Takeshi Konomi's The Prince of Tennis manga.
