About Chad Thesen

Chad Thesen is a passionate fan of anime, video games, series, and films (Both animated and live-action). Many years of experience have left him with a deep knowledge of these mediums' intricacies and nuances. He loves discussing his observations of games and shows with others who share these interests. He is up-to-date on the latest news and trends in the industry and is also skilled at analyzing and critiquing these mediums to provide thoughtful insight. He started writing with Dualshockers and is now a part of The Best War Games.

Favorite Console

I started my gaming journey with a Sega Megadrive Bundle back in 1991, which included the very first entry in the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise. I would later migrate over to Sony consoles with the original PlayStation in 1996 — and all subsequent PlayStation consoles since. Out of all the PlayStation, PS3 has provided me with some of the best experiences and stands as my favorite.

Favorite Games

I have always had a deep love for puzzle games, Action Adventure, RPG, and Platformer games. These are genres that can set up a very specific task within specific parameters, and see how well a player can accomplish this predefined goal. Some of my favorite games would come from the Ratchet & Clank, Dragon Quest, and everything developed by Naughty Dog.

Industry Focus

I was a writer for Dualshockers for over a year, honing and perfecting my skills by writing almost 600 articles. Over time, I also contributed to the updating of other writers' works to make sure they were up to date and that they adhered to an expected level of quality. I have since moved over to The Best War Games, where I intend to provide the highest level of quality to submissions.
