About Conor McShane

Conor McShane has been writing about movies and TV in one form or another for 15 years, since starting his first Wordpress blog in 2009. During his 10 years living in Chicago, he wrote theatre reviews for arts publications Chicago Stage Standard and PerformInk, and joined the horror-centric website Morbidly Beautiful as a staff writer in 2021.  There, he writes and edits the column Tubi Tuesday, where he recommends movies found on Tubi, the greatest of all streaming sites.  In addition to his pop culture writing, Conor is a playwright whose work has been produced throughout Chicago as well as in Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, New York City, and the World Wide Web.  He's also dipped his toe into podcasting, creating and producing 8 episodes of a series called First Time for Everyone, which explored the lifelong process of creative evolution through the lens of writers' earliest works.  He lives in Michigan with his partner Leslie and their cat Cheena, who he thinks likes him but can never be quite sure.
