About Ewan Lewis

Ewan has been a content writer since 2020, and loves nothing more than discussing all things gaming. While he's been playing games all his life, he has a particular interesting in anything even remotely related to survival-horror.

One of his first ever memories is seeing Leon and Claire rock up to Racoon City, and ever since, he's been a horror buff through and through. Unfortunately, this also means he's one of the unlucky ones still waiting for a Dino Crisis remake.

Ewan does still enjoy trying out other genres though, and is an avid fan of both fighting games and RPGs. He also has a very open mind when it comes to general innovation within the industry.

Favorite Games

Ewan's favorite game of all time is the original Final Fantasy 7. The complex lore and wide cast of lovable characters resonated with him on a personal level, making for a truly memorable experience. A few of his other favorite games include Resident Evil 4, Persona 5, Mass Effect 2, and Silent Hill 2.

Favorite Console

Ewan has a particular soft spot for the Xbox 360, the console that introduced him to online gaming. One of his fondest memories is booting up Halo 3 for the very first time and finding another Spartan online in a round of Team Slayer. The PlayStation 5 is a close second for him, but the Xbox 360 reigns supreme.

Proudest Gaming Achievement

Earning his first ever Platinum Trophy was a huge milestone for Ewan. Despite being a PlayStation fan for so many years, he had always missed out on the almighty Platinum, until he fully completed the Resident Evil 4 Remake in the first half of 2023.
