The original PlayStation is without a doubt a beloved favourite with its iconic grey colourway and excellent design, there is just no beating that start-up sound and watching the logo come on screen. Polygonal characters they may be, but back in the day, that was all that was needed, and it still holds true today.

The original Metal Gear Solid was a formative experience for a young gamer, and even till this day, the combination of visuals, gameplay, and environmental design is hard to top. Being part of the journey of Solid Snake on Shadow Moses Island never stops feeling exciting and intense, and the growth of the franchise has been cherished every step of the way.
