Favorite Games
My favorite games are typically focused on the fascinating worlds that the developers have created. Series like Bioshock, The Legend of Zelda, and Portal introduce you to imaginative settings that are so interesting to explore, you almost find yourself forgetting the main story.
The Legend of Zelda Windwaker will always have a place in my heart as being one of the first games I played that really opened my eyes and heart to the possibilities of gaming, and it's still one I find myself gravitating back to in between my indie-horror gaming nights (when is that Windwaker Switch release coming, Nintendo?!)
Favorite Console
Historically, my answer has to be the Nintendo Gamecube, where my love for gaming really blossomed, and, although I've played a lot on the XBox and the Playstation, I still think that Nintendo has my heart. I love my Nintendo Switch and the ability I have to play games with my whole family in the living room, or cozy up in bed to finish off just a few more days in Stardew Valley.
Proudest Gaming Achievement
I think that my proudest gaming achievement has to be finishing Hollowknight. I have never been someone with a lot of patience and perseverance when it comes to failure in video games. After a few deaths in the same place I usually just call it quits. However, something about Hollowknight had me pushing through, even though I must have died 1000s of times throughout my playthrough. In the end, I didn't even find the final boss that difficult (not that I've played through the pantheon yet though).
