Jordan has been in gaming journalism for two years, covering guides, news, and features. Her favorite game genres are RPGs, comfort-cozy simulators, and indie with most of her time dedicated to completing dailies in all of the HoYoverse games. Not to mention Infinity Nikki, Wuthering Waves, and similar games that take up too much time in the day. 

Games have played a prevalent role in her life since she was young, from watching her dad play Final Fantasy 7 to eventually trying out her own games on the GameBoy Advance. Some of her favorite games that got her into this hobby still remain, such as Tetris, Pokemon LeafGreen/FireRed, and Zelda: Link’s Awakening.

TheBestWarGames has always been her go-to site for quick news and guides whenever she needed help getting through tough missions. Now as part of the team, she can share her gaming hyperfixations with readers who also love pretty characters, flexible gameplay, and open-world exploration.

Industry Focus

What started Jordan in gaming journalism was Genshin Impact, so she's followed the HoYoverse company through thick and thin. While she loves open-world exploration and the escape that Genshin provided during tough times, Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero have been wonderful experiences in their own right. She's always excited to see similar games whether in design or gameplay, such as Infinity Nikki, Wuthering Waves, and many to come such as Ananta (formerly Project Mugen). 

Favorite Games

Her favorite game of all time is Final Fantasy VII, the original before it's fantastic remake. It’s what got Jordan into gaming in the first place, and although she may have completed VIII and XII before it, there will always be a special place in her heart for VII.

Favorite Console

Raised in a family that had a line of PlayStations, it may have been biased from the very beginning. Even to this day, Jordan still owns her original PlayStation 1 and two PlayStation 2’s because siblings. It’s hard to break a habit when you’ve been following a singular console your whole life!
