About Lianna Tedesco

As an avid gamer, Lianna fell in love with the world of gaming at the young age of six. Summers split between time spent in the library reading fantasy novels, and evenings at home playing fantasy RPGs ignited what became a lifelong devotion to being a gamer.

When life got hard, there was always a new world to explore and a new storyline to experience. She learned more about herself through the lives of relatable characters, and the decisions and gameplay that brought about happy -- or sometimes tragic -- endings.

In her professional career, she has played and reviewed countless games and has been featured on sites such as The Arts Fuse and HeR Interactive. While streaming with her fellow community of long-time gamers is always a favorite pastime, writing about games and sharing that love with readers is a close second.

Favorite Console

I'd be lying if I said the PS5 wasn't my tried and true -- but I'd also be lying if I said that the Nintendo 64 and more specifically, GoldenEye 007, didn't hold a special place in my heart.

I've recently entered my PC gaming era, so that's becoming a strong contender against PlayStation. When it comes to cozy games (looking at you, Moonstone Island), there's nothing like settling into your personalized PC gaming space and checking out for the night.

Proudest Gaming Achievement

Not-So-Serious: Making it through Silent Hill 2 (the original and the remake) in the dark without alarming the neighbors every time Mannequins slithered by.

More Serious: My first-ever platinum of a modern game (Final Fantasy XV) and my platinum of a remastered classic from my childhood (Sly Cooper Trilogy).

Favorite Games

While I'm partial to indies, the entire Final Fantasy franchise will forever be responsible for capturing my heart in a way that no other game series has. Final Fantasy IX devastated me, Final Fantasy VI inspired me, Final Fantasy XIV taught me what found family is, Final Fantasy VII sparked my love for villainous stories, and Final Fantasy XVI reminded me that greatness knows no bounds.

Outside of that, I am a tearful Kingdom Hearts fan (and cosplayer), a loyal Life Is Strange fan, and an ever-curious Persona fan. Resident Evil 4 is also high on my list of games that I will never get tired of replaying year after year.
