About Murillo Zerbinatto
Murillo Zerbinatto is a contributor from Brazil. He's an RPG enthusiast (with a focus on JRPGs) who has been around the world of games and content creation for more than five years now. He has a particular love for Final Fantasy and has absorbed all the content this long-running series offers, including its obscure spinoffs such as Dimension I & II, Explorers, and My Life as a King. While playing RPGs is already a time-sinking endeavor, Murillo doubles down by being a platinum hunter as well.
Favorite Games
The nostalgic answer is Breath of Fire. Ever since I was a kid, I've loved dragons because of the Knights of the Zodiac and Breath of Fire III ticked all the boxes of what I wanted in an RPG. My current favorite game is Final Fantasy XIV. The unbelievable world-building and narrative are totally mindblowing. I'm still amazed at how they managed to create a lore spanning more than 10 years and keep (almost) everything cohesive and coherent.
Proudest Gaming Achievement
Clearing the Pantheon of Hallownest and getting a platinum trophy in Final Fantasy XIV PS4 version. It took me quite a while to get both, so it's as much a feat of patience and determination as of prowess and skill. Now I'm embarking on a journey to get the platinum trophy for Final Fantasy XIV on PS5. I'll be back to update this answer in 3 years or so.
Industry Focus
RPGs are my jam. My portfolio is filled with JRPGs, which is why I've been delving into other genres lately, such as CRPGs, DRPG, TPRG, and whatever suffix can fit the bill. I don't mind if it's a AAA or indie game, I'm on it as long as the narrative is good and the game introduces an innovative progression system.
