About Nadia Grace Mullings

Nadia Grace Mullings is a contributor and journalist for The Best War Games, and has been a big fan of video gaming from a young age. Strong first impressions included point-and-click games on an old PC (way back!) and the Sega Genesis' original Sonic the Hedgehog. She also holds a degree in Creative Writing.

The Sonic the Hedgehog   and Super Mario franchises   both   have (rather ironically!) a special place in her heart, and she's also interested in the history and development of video game music and consoles. She also likes anime (especially My Hero Academia) and K-Dramas (which is pretty much all she watches nowadays).

Nadia has two pet rabbits named Cream and Vanilla (though she's tempted to nickname them Deku and Kacchan based on their behavior!) and a dog named Amy. She likes to revisit gaming gems on the Nintendo Wii, GameCube and Xbox 360 or read/watch MHA whenever she has a spare moment. Oh, and let's not forget about Star Wars, LOTR, Disney, Nintendo, and Sega in general!

Favorite Games

I've played many great games over the years, but if I had to highlight a couple in particular, I would choose Sonic Adventure 2 and Super Mario Galaxy. They particularly mean a lot to me. The combination of immersive storylines and incredible music has always made these titles stand out as special.


 

Favorite Console

I'm interested in a variety of games and platforms, but I would say the 1st generation Nintendo Wii, as you can play both the Wii library, and the GameCube library with its Sega Dreamcast ports: All these platforms have given me many hours of fun, and introduced me to some brilliant games, characters and storylines.
 

Proudest Gaming Achievement

Finally beating Super Mario Galaxy 2's end level The Perfect Run was a major achievement. The intensity (and aching wrists) were worth it in the end!
