About Paolo Josiel Arias
Paolo Arias is a marketing content writer based in Metro Manila. He's usually listening to podcasts, reading a book, or drinking coffee when AFK.
Favorite Games
I'm big on action role-playing games and first-person shooters. My top five are Skyrim (Stealth Archer forever), Overwatch 2 (Ana mains rise up!), and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Fallout 4, and Persona 5: Royal.
Max Payne and Bastion have special places in my heart, too, since they're the first two games I ever played 'til the end.
Favorite Anime
Haikyuu!! is my forever fave, but I'm loving Chainsaw Man right now. It has a deeply human and heartfelt story wrapped in a dizzying smokescreen of flashy fights and a cool magic system. Honorable mentions include Mob Psycho 100, Jujutsu Kaisen, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Demon Slayer, Shingeki no Kyojin, and Code Geass.
Industry Focus
I usually write about first-person shooter and role-playing games, as they're the genres I loved (and continue to love) playing growing up. I'm also venturing to other genres like 2D fighters and farming/social sims. Most of the games focus on are on PC, since that's my primary platform until the Switch 2 rolls around.
