About Parker Bennett

Parker Bennett is a graduate of Emerson College with more than 3 years of writing experience. He's been a fan and scholar of Tolkien's extended works for nearly his whole life, and is excited to be writing about such a fascinating topic at TheBestWarGames. He was born and grew up in northern Colorado, but currently resides in Los Angeles.

Industry Focus

Parker's focus at TheBestWarGames is on Lord of the Rings, and writing engaging content about the entirety of Tolkien's works and their many adaptations. He is a longtime fan of Tolkien and The Lord of the Rings, and is currently neck-deep in his third re-reading of the series.

Favorite Games

Parker's favorite games include The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Batman: Arkham City. He's an avid fan of open-world action-adventure games, and adores immersing himself completely in the world of whatever he's currently playing.

Favorite Console

Considering that it was the first console he ever owned, Parker's favorite console would still have to be the Xbox 360. While he admits it may have had its share of performance issues, some of his most cherished gaming memories were made on his beat-up model from 2007.
