About Peter Morics
Peter Morics is a list writer from the United States. He has been writing about video games for five years. He started out as a news writer, covering some of the biggest moments in the industry, but he's also had experience reviewing games and hardware, as well as writing overviews and features for numerous games across a wide variety of genres. Peter's been passionate about video games since he was a child, and he loves exploring how they can be used to tell stories and immerse players in new experiences and worlds.
Favorite Games
Peter's favorite game is The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, which he credits with helping him fall in love with video games in the first place. He's a big fan of RPGs, including titles like Fallout: New Vegas, Persona 5 Royal, and Bloodborne, and he spends a lot of free time playing Dungeons & Dragons to boot. Peter generally favors games with strong narratives and characters, but he also loves any game he can play on the couch with his friends, like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Kirby's Return to Dreamland.
Favorite Console
Peter's most-used console is a PS5, which he uses to tackle an ever-growing backlog of PlayStation games. He also has a Nintendo Switch and a gaming laptop which get pretty heavy use as well. Peter still brings his 3DS with him on long road trips just in case, and he has a soft spot for the Wii, which was his first real gaming console.
Industry Focus
Peter works for The Best War Games as a list writer. His favorite topics include characters, story moments, and memorable boss fights, but there's no aspect of the video game industry that isn't worth talking about, and to that end, Peter spends a lot of time on a wide variety of topics.
