About Richard Warren
Rick Warren is a Senior Features Editor from the United States who has been a massive gamer and comic book fan ever since he played Spider-Man on the PlayStation 1. He loves writing about everything in nerd culture, and absolutely adores Trophy hunting on PSN, accumulating over 50,000 achievements over the years.
Rick began working for The Best War Games back in 2020, immediately after graduating from the University of Akron with a Bachelor's Degree in English. He quickly rose to the role of editor through his hard work and passion for all things video games. He now focuses primarily on both writing and editing GR Originals, viewing them as a necessary avenue for unique and important takes on the video game industry.
Whenever Rick's not working on content for The Best War Games, he is either reading comics, watching superhero movies and AEW, or — unsurprisingly — collecting Trophies.
Proudest Gaming Achievement
Hitting Trophy level 999 on PSN and getting over 1,400 Platinum Trophies. Regularly hovering around the top 900 Trophy hunters worldwide and top 150 in the United States.
Favorite Console
PlayStation 4, with the PS2 close behind. PlayStation's exclusives make up a lot of my favorite games, and these two generations really shined in this regard.
Favorite Games
The Last of Us 2, The Witcher 3, Metal Gear Solid 3, God of War Ragnarok, and Mass Effect 2 for singleplayer.
For multiplayer, Overwatch, Call of Duty Zombies, Minecraft, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Borderlands.
