Favorite Games

Baldur's Gate 3 has taken over Samantha's life. Her other favorite games include The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Okami, The Darkside Detective series, and Wytchwood. She tends to gravitate towards games with unique art styles, immersive atmospheres, and/or quirky, imperfect characters. Outside of video games, she also loves to play Dungeons & Dragons and Gloom.

Industry Focus

Samantha tends to focus on general gaming industry news and trends, or news related to her favorite games and studios. She is also interested in covering stories where video games overlap with mental health, neurodivergence, disability, intersectional feminism, or LGBTQIA+ culture. She hopes to be able to spotlight as many indie games as possible. 

Favorite Console

Now that she has a gaming computer, Samantha prefers to play on PC. Previously, she was caught in the crossfire of the console wars between Sony and Microsoft. Realizing she could only afford to purchase one, she went with PS5, though in previous generations had been loyal to Xbox for its console exclusives.
