The following contains potential spoilers for two of Avengers: Doomsday's teaser trailers.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been no stranger to leaks as of late when it comes to the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday, and now yet another teaser trailer for the film has been leaked ahead of its official arrival in theaters. While the first Doomsday teaser, which confirmed Steve Rogers' return as Captain America, has already begun playing in theaters and has now been officially released online, this newly surfaced footage appears to jump ahead in Marvel's rollout plan. In doing so, it reveals two additional characters for the movie, giving fans an early glimpse at how much larger the next Avengers could be.

Like the first teaser, this new trailer was reportedly meant to screen exclusively before showings of Avatar: Fire and Ash, part of a staggered marketing strategy designed to roll out Avengers: Doomsday reveals over several weeks. Instead, the leak has pushed that information into the public conversation sooner than expected. With more trailers reportedly tied to Avatar's theatrical run, it seems Doomsday's buildup is already starting to unfold sooner than Marvel likely planned.

Avengers: Doomsday's Latest Leaked Teaser Confirms Return of Thor and Love

Thor and Love from Thor Love and Thunder

While Chris Hemsworth was already confirmed to return in Avengers: Doomsday via the cast announcement trailer that premiered in early 2025, the latest leaked teaser not only doubles down on Thor's return, but also confirms that his adopted daughter, Love, will appear alongside him. In the leaked trailer, Thor is shown praying to the All-Father for the strength to defeat a "new enemy" and safely return to his daughter. At one point during his prayer, he is seen sitting on Love's bed, speaking with her and kissing her on the forehead.

Father. All my life, I have answered the calls of honor, duty, and combat. But destiny has offered me something I had never hoped for: a child. A life preserved from the storm. Grant me the strength of the fathers of all things so that I may fight once more. Defeat a new enemy and return to her. Not as a warrior, but as a protector. They do not know war, but tranquility. The one I have never known. I beg you, father, hear my prayer.

Again, it's no surprise that Chris Hemsworth is returning as Thor in Avengers: Doomsday, as his name was the first to appear in the movie's cast announcement trailer. However, with Love reportedly returning as well, the dynamics of Thor's commitment to go to battle once more do change considerably, as the superhero no longer has only himself to care about.

Avengers: Doomsday's First Teaser Confirms the Return of Steve Rogers as Captain America

While Chris Hemsworth was already confirmed to return in Avengers: Doomsday in the movie's cast announcement trailer, Chris Evans was not. Like the second teaser, the first was leaked ahead of schedule, seeming to tease Chris Evans' return as Captain America. However, with the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash, the first teaser officially debuted, confirming that the Avengers veteran will indeed return in Doomsday. Now, the teaser trailer has even been officially released online by Marvel, so those who have yet to see Avatar in theaters or have no plans to can witness a first look at Doomsday's Captain America.

In the first teaser, a man is shown driving his motorcycle down a dirt road to his house, and then hanging up his helmet on one of the handlebars. It isn't until he goes inside the house and picks up a Captain America suit that viewers are made aware of who this man is, though. Shortly after, he is shown holding a baby, who is presumably the child he had with Peggy Carter, before the face of Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) is finally shown and a line of text confirms his return in Avengers: Doomsday.

Steve Rogers Avengers Doomsday

The second teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday is expected to officially debut in front of Avatar: Fire and Ash this weekend, as Marvel has four trailers planned, one for each week, during Avatar's theatrical run. As of now, Marvel Studios has not officially commented on the leaked footage, nor confirmed whether the teaser will be altered ahead of its scheduled theatrical debut. Even so, with Chris Evans now confirmed to return alongside Chris Hemsworth, the next Avengers is beginning to look like a star-studded reunion.
