While exploring the smoldering hot lava fields of Galawain's Tusks, players will mostly encounter Pargrun NPCs, a race of dwarves in the world of Avowed. One such NPC can be found near Salt Flat Farms who requests Envoy's attention. He starts by explaining how the Salt Flat Farms have been overrun with Xaurips that have arrived from the north. It's up to the players to clear out the farms so a group of Pargrun outcasts can settle here as part of A Home for Outcasts quest.

How to Start a Home of Outcasts Quest in Avowed
Players can find the Pargrun Outcast to start the A Home for Outcasts quest next to Salt Flat Farms, towards the northeast of Amalia's Camp in Avowed. While traveling down the road, you'll hear a Pargrun NPC standing on top of a rock calling out to the Envoy. After speaking to the NPC, he'll request players to clear out the nearby settlement from Xaurip infestation so a group of outcast Pargruns can move in.
Here's what players need to do.
Eliminating Xaurips in Salt Flat Farms
There are a total of four areas players will need to clear out in order to complete the A Home for Outcasts quest in Avowed. The outskirts of Salt Flam Farms is the first area you'll need to clear out. There are mostly smaller Xaurip minions here, so taking them down will be easier.
Entering the second area of Salt Flat Farms, you'll find Xaurip Warchief and High Priest. Make sure to focus on the Xaurip Warchief first to make taking down other smaller minions easier.
Once you're done, move on to the next area to encounter smaller and greater Ruinous Blights. And lastly, you'll also face off against Grey Brown Bears towards the end of Salt Flat Farms.
Where to Find the Bent Farmhouse Key
Once the area is clear, make sure to head up the slope to the left of the farmhouse to get the 
Bent Farmhouse Key under a Xaurip tent.
Once you have the key, return to the farmhouse in the end and unlock it to get some valuable loot. There's also a note on the ground that you should consider reading for some lore hints.
Returning to Pargrun Outcast
Once you're done with the area, return to Pargrun Outcast and give him the all-clear. He'll be happy for the Envoy's help and grant players 1800 coins for helping the Pargruns out by clearing Salt Flat Farms. This will also mark A Home for Outcasts' quest as completed in Avowed.
