Unique Armor & Clothing are the highest quality gear players can find in Avowed. Unlike the basic weapons and armor located throughout the Living Lands, Unique items are Enchanted. This means they have two special perks that make them far more useful than the normal equipment typically encountered. Unique items are extremely rare, and will usually require some effort to find. In this guide, we'll be showing you how to get every Unique armor piece in Emerald Stair, Avowed' s second main region.

All Unique Armor in Emerald Stair – Avowed

Unique Chest Armor:

Armor Name	Armor Type	How to Get Armor
Death Knight Armor	Heavy	The Death Knight Armor is located in the Waterfall Cave as the base of the bridge on the western side of Fior mes Iverno. Inside the cave, you'll encounter two guards and a locked door. In the chamber just past the locked door, you'll find a small pool of water that is actually very deep. Swim down through the underwater tunnel, emerge into another chamber, and you'll find this armor in a chest at the end.
Eothasian Breastplate	Medium	During "Steel Resolve," you'll need to visit the Ogre's Cave in the northwest corner of the map. Look for the sealed wooden door in the cave, then follow the cable to the Essence Generator to open it. The armor is inside the chamber, in a chest.
Tranton Family Brigandine	Heavy	Picked up off one of the three Trantons during their bounty quest at the Overgrown Homestead.
Vailian Breastplate	Medium	Enter the Vidarro Family Mansion in Fior and head upstairs. This armor is in a small chest on top of a bookshelf in the room to the left at the top of the stairs.
Warmage's Robe	Light	Sold my Merchant Alyssa just outside the Naku Tedek Grounds. 5,250 gold skelling.
Pauper's Plate	Heavy	Head just slightly northwest from the Wildwoods Outskirts Party Camp, and you'll see what looks like a tree house. Climb the small ledge to jump across to the structure, then continue through the wooden panels until you see a chest on a small piece of ruin. This armor is in the chest.
Animancer's Swallowtail	Light	Purchased from the Farmer's Market for 5,250 gold skelling.
Hjilde's Handy Hide	Light	Solution to the "Treasure Map – Practical Pockets" side quest. From the Ranger Headquarters, head directly east until you reach the rock wall. Follow the wall north, and you'll soon see a sunken area on the right where you'll find this armor in a chest.

All Unique Boots in Emerald Stair – Avowed

Unique Boots, Greaves, & Sabatons:

Clothing Name	How to Get Clothing Items	Map
Death Knight Sabatons	Found in the same Waterfall Cave as the Death Knight Armor. The Sabatons are found behind a large pile of crates and explosive barrels that are at the top of a ledge you'll find across from the pool of water you use to reach the armor.
Eothasian Boots	Directly south of Truffle Farm (found on the east side of Fior), you'll find a large tree surrounded by spore and spider enemies. These boots are in a small chest among broken crates at and around the base of the tree.
Tranton Family Greaves	Dropped by one of the three dead Trantons during their bounty quest at the Overgrown Homestead.
Vailian Boots	Found on a small island in the river just southeast of the Molded Godless Ruins in northern Emerald Stair. Use an ice platform to reach the island.
Warmage's Boots	These boots can be picked up during the "Food Theft" quest. When you reach Riverside Cave, you can either fight the rebels, or help them. Either way, the boots will be in a chest in Erlinn's chamber.
Wolf Boots	During "Nature vs Nurture," which you can start by speaking to the farmers east of the Farmer's Markets, you'll encounter Amadio, the human leader of the 'friendly' Xaurips. To get the boots, either side with Amadio, or kill him.
Shoes of the Glimmering Merchant	From the northern entrance to Fior, follow the wall east, and you'll find a skelton against the wall with a note on the ground near it. If you look at the wall, you'll see the outline of an entrance, and a switch on the left side of it. Use the switch to enter Salvius's Lab, where you'll find the shoes in a chest,

All Unique Gloves in Emerald Stair – Avowed

Unique Gloves & Gauntlets:

Eothasian Gauntlets	Visit the Abandoned Home on the eastern side of the Rolling Crags. Use a grenade or a Built to Destroy power attack to get through the broken wall on the southern side of the structure. The gauntlets are in a chest in the bedroom. You can also use one lockpick to open the front door, or the Dreamthrall Woodsman's Key.
Tranton Family Gauntlets	Found on one of three dead Trantons during their bounty quest at the Overgrown Homestead.
Vailian Gauntlets	At Truffle Farm in eastern Emerald Stair, enter the top floor of the large building through the upstairs windows, which you can reach using the outer stairs. Inside, you'll find the Dirty Key on a table. Use the key to open the downstairs front door, then collect the gloves from a chest in the main room.
Warmage's Bracers	Sold at The Gifted Magpie in Fior mes Iverno. 1,500 gold skellings.
Wolf Gloves	Make your way around to the back of Naku Tedek. You'll find the gloves in a chest within a small alcove guarded by multiple enemies.
