How to Get the Disappointer Unique Pistol in Avowed

Players can get The Disappointer unique pistol from a merchant located in the Paradis Hightown in the Dawnshore region of Avowed. You'll need to simply travel to the High Market fast-travel beacon inside the Paradis Hightown. After spawning in the market, keep heading toward the northwest corner of the area, through the alleyways.

Meeting the Hidden Merchant

After arriving at the marked location, you'll meet a hidden merchant named Kerdhed "Cutty" Colen. If it's the first time you're interacting with him, he'll engage you in a conversation. He'll ask how an Aedyran came to see his wares, as he wasn't expecting the Envoy to go scourging around in alleyways.

As the conversation goes on, he'll introduce himself as a trader of lost things. If you have a level 2 intellect stat, you'll be able to accuse the merchant of being an ordinary fence. This will allow you to either take the high road and threaten to shut the merchant down or demand a bribe from him. Don't select the former choice, as it will block you from accessing the merchant.

Purchasing The Disappointer Pistol

Now, opt to see the merchant's wares, and you'll be able to buy The Disappointer unique pistol from him. The pistol's price depends on its quality level, i.e., common, fine, exceptional, superb, and legendary.

The Disappointer is a great pistol that you can get early on, which offers amazing talents. For starters, its "Terrible" talent debuffs the enemy's attack by 10%. Meanwhile, the "Bleeding Lash" talent allows players to deal +10% bleed damage to enemies. It's a great weapon to use against regular enemies, but it can be extremely effective against larger bosses.
