"Treasure Map - Seafarer's Boots" is one of several Treasure Map side quests in Avowed's third region, Shatterscarp. Like all the treasure hunts in Avowed, completing Seafarer's Boots will earn you a unique item, in this case, the Wavebinder Boots. Treasure map quests serve not only as an excellent way to pass the time between major quests, but also a great way to acquire some of the best gear in the game. In this guide, we'll show you how to solve the Seafarer's Boots map and collect the Wavebinder Boots in Avowed.

Where to FInd the Seafarer's Boots Treasure Map in Avowed
While you technically don't need the treasure map to access the treasure cache, some players may want to know where the map is. The Seafarer's Boots map is located in Shatterscarp, the third major region in Avowed. It should go without saying that players will have to complete the Dawnshore and Emerald Stair regions before this map will even be possible to acquire.
Once you've made it to the open regions of Shatterscarp, you'll want to head just northeast of Thirdborn. If you've discovered the Thirdborn Party Camp, which is directly north of the city, you can head southeast. Look on the map, and you'll see a building formation that looks like an old oil can from above. To the right of that is a slender light-colored section between two darker areas. This is a small rock ledge. On this ledge you'll find the Seafarer's Boots map on a small picnic blanket.
Look for Loato, an Orlan NPC standing right next to the blanket looking out over the landscape from the edge of the cliff.
Treasure Map – Seafarer's Boots Solution – Avowed
Now that you have the map, you can see the first major hint is the red water. This isn't an artistic stroke, the location actually has red water. If you've explored the region near the Sulfur Mine, you know your destination is somewhere nearby.
The next clue is the building visibile in the distance. With these two items, we can narrow down the location of the treasure. From the rear entrance of the Sulfur Mine Basecamp, head east along the red river until you're under the natural bridge formation. You'll find the Wavebinder Boots on a dead body in a small cave beneath the bridge.
On the opposite side of the bridge, there is another cave with more treasure. You may need to collect both treasures to complete the side quest.
To get both treasures, you will need to make sure you bring Yatzli as a companion. The second treasure is behind an illusory wall.
