Players can acquire the Elixir of Half-Elven Healing potion in Moonrise Towers, accessible toward the end of Act 2. Reaching this location requires traveling through the treacherous Shadow-Cursed Lands.
Once inside Moonrise Towers, players can find Araj Oblodra, a Drow trader who sells this HP-boosting elixir. Players can consume the elixir using their bonus action, which heals themselves and surrounding allies for 1d20 + Constitution score. The Dwarven Splintmail can be purchased from the bugbear vendor, Lann Tarv, in Moonrise Towers. However, Lann Tarv doesn’t open his full inventory unless players manage to persuade Disciple Z’rell to hand over the key to Balthazar’s Room. Now, when players talk to Lann Tarv, they can let the bugbear vendor know that they were sent by Disciple Z’rell, which causes the vendor to open their full inventory, allowing the purchase of Dwarven Splintmail armor.
Besides adding +2 bonus to Constitution, the Dwarven Splintmail also includes two perks: Superior Plate and Body Aid. The Superior Plate perk reduces incoming ranged attack damage by -1, whereas the Body Aid perk grants +1 buff to Strength, saving throws, and ability checks. The one downside players should consider when equipping this armor is that they’ll suffer from disadvantage in Stealth checks.
