One dagger with questionable utility is the
Worgfang. The dagger itself isn't bad in any way, but the Worgfang is rather limited in how useful it can actually be to the wielder. It is okay for the early stages of the game, but quickly becomes redundant.
This Uncommon dagger offers the wielder the ability Goblin’s Undoing, which sounds great, but one has to consider how many goblins they are going to fight. The ability itself has goblins roll at a disadvantage on attacks against the wielder. The Worgfang dagger can be found in the Worg Pens, on the skeleton with two worgs near it.

The Dagger +1 is certainly on the weaker side of Daggers in Baldur's Gate 3, but a Weapon Enchantment of +1 can still be a welcome addition at the very start of the game. This means that attacks deal an extra 1 damage, and they are also more likely to hit in the first place.
To get this dagger, players can either purchase it from one of the Act 1 traders at the Emerald Grove or Goblin Camp, or they can find it near the Blighted Village. It is on a hill that overlooks the village's barn, but players must pass a skill check to dislodge it from a piece of meat.

For those who do want to add the dagger to their collection, however, there are a few ways to obtain it. First of all, it can be purchased from some of the Act 3 merchants who sell weapons. It can also be taken from the serial killer Dolor at the Wine Festival, although players will be more interested in his other dagger,
Dolor Amarus. The dagger can even drop in the penultimate fight of the game, but won't be much use.

Seeing as it can be acquired very early on, the
Hunter's Dagger is a surprisingly good option in the opening Act. Not only does it have a +1 Weapon Enchantment, making hits more likely, but by Rupturing targets, a lot more damage can be dealt over the course of a fight. Ruptured enemies will take 1d4 Piercing damage when they move, which is similar to the damage dealt by the dagger itself.
Impressively, this effect will be applied on every successful hit, which isn't typically the case. To get the Hunter's Dagger, players simply need to make their way to the Shattered Sanctum where the goblins and Absoulte are camped. Here they will find a merchant called Roah Moonglow. She sells plenty of other useful Act 1 items for BG3 too, so it's always worth talking to her first before potentially getting in a fight where she can die.

Assassin's Touch is another Uncommon dagger that falls a little short in the amazing weapon department. But unlike the previous two, this particular dagger, in the hands of an imaginative, resourceful, and somewhat devious player, can be a useful tool.
By itself, it only deals with the standard 1d4 damage of basic Daggers. However, if an enemy happens to be knocked out or sleeping, it also does an additional 1d4 of Necrotic damage. It can be acquired by completing the Save The Goblin Sazza quest in the Shattered Sanctum. This makes it one of the best early-game Daggers in Baldur's Gate 3.

Dread Iron Dagger is a great option, as it deals extra damage when the wielder attacks while hidden.
The only downside is that players will need to wait until Act 3 to acquire this dagger, as it is sold by Echo of Abazigal in the Murder Tribunal. However, this is only an option if players have accepted Bhaal, a decision that any morally good character will want to avoid.

The
Murderous Cut Dagger makes for a good backup weapon, either dual-wielded alongside a stronger melee weapon or as an up-close option for rangers. This is because it deals an extra 1d4 Piercing damage to enemies who have less than half of their health remaining, meaning players should strike first with their primary and then finish the job off with Murderous Cut.
Baldur's Gate 3: All Cloaks, Ranked (& How To Get Them)
Cloaks may be somewhat overlooked in Baldur's Gate 3, but these choices can offer some decent benefits - or at least a few style points.

Ritual Dagger only offers standard damage, which is 1d4. However, it also offers an additional benefit. After a successful attack with the Ritual Dagger, the wielder receives an additional +1d4 bonus to their attack rolls and saving throws until the end of the wielder’s turn.
Players can find the Ritual Dagger on a table near Abdirak in the Shattered Sanctum. One thing to note is that the dagger disappears along with Abdirak if the player has not taken it before they start a fight with the goblins. So, the solution – take the dagger and then fight the goblins.

Despite not having a special ability, the Ritual Dagger of Shar is still an incredibly strong weapon, thanks to the additional 1d4 Necrotic damage it deals. It also has a Weapon Enchantment of +1, which means attacks are more likely to hit. This is one of the most underrated aspects of weapons in BG3.
The best thing about this dagger is that, unlike many other high-damage weapons, players don't need to wait until Act 3 to obtain it, as it is found in Act 2. More specifically, it is found on an altar in the Sharran Sanctuary, which is an underground temple accessed from Reithwin Town. Players should prepare themselves for a fight when picking it up, however.

Gleamdance Dagger is a great all-around option, as it has good damage, a defensive bonus, and even gives out light. The +1 bonus to AC is always going to be useful, as it makes characters harder to hit, although this particular passive will only work if the dagger is used off-hand.
