How Do Lightning Charges Work?

Lightning Charges are one of the equipment features that will help you diversify your battle. With one or more Lightning Charges, the character gains +1 to Attack Rolls and deals 1 Lightning damage. When you gain 5 or more Charges, your next attack will deal an additional 1d8 Lightning damage. But be careful, as with every turn, you will lose 1 Charge.

How To Use Lightning Charges

Upon reaching 5 Lightning Charges, your character will automatically deal additional Lightning damage with the next attack. In other words, you cannot choose when to use this ability. Therefore, you must calculate your actions to cause as much damage as possible at the right moment.

Speaking of damage, Lightning Charges can be even more deadly if your enemies are Wet. This status is applied if enemies are standing in water, walking through mist, or when you get them in any other way. In this case, they will take double Lightning damage.
