The Goblin Camp is one of the first major strongholds players can encounter in Baldur's Gate 3. On their quest to find help with removing their Mind Flayer parasites, players can visit this dubious fort and seek an audience with one of their leaders, possibly finding leads on how to rid themselves of the tadpole for good.
Depending on the choices Baldur's Gate 3 players make, this may not end on the most agreeable of terms. Their choices may cause them to get locked up in a cell, which can be a little troubling to escape from at a glance. Despite the hordes of guards and the giant Ogress right outside the cell, breaking out of the Goblin Camp isn't as hard as some might think it'd be.

Updated on March 17, by Nahda Nabiilah: While exploring the Shattered Sanctum, if players by any chance decide to speak with Priestess Gut privately or commit a crime like stealing valuable objects in plain sight, they will be thrown in a cell with no way out. Luckily, there are some tricks you can perform to break out of prison without alerting any enemy. Some of these methods require certain spells or simply a lock pick. Just make sure to use the Hide option and stay out of enemies' range of sight to escape successfully.
How To Escape The Goblin Camp (Defiled Temple) In Baldur's Gate 3
If the encounter with True Soul Gut doesn't go as planned, she'll end up drugging one of the party members and locking them up in one of the isolated rooms in the temple. The remaining party members are free to move about, but as far as this part is concerned, they don't have to do anything.
Before that, the imprisoned party member can perform an Acrobatics or Strength check to see if they can free themselves from their cuffs. Doing so will give them the ability to sneak out through the door and back to the room where Gut poisoned them. They can reconnect with the rest of the party from here.
An alternate route is to take the ladder up and quickly jump down to the other side of the window before the Ogress turns around. This path leads to the Defiled Temple, where players can solve a puzzle to escape to the Underdark.
If players choose to preserve their strength, a mysterious woman will kill True Soul Gut before disappearing. From this point on, players are free to move around or teleport away to a waypoint.
How To Escape The Worg Pens In Baldur's Gate 3
If players commit a crime, they'll get locked up in the Worg Pens instead. This is the traditional jail area of the Goblin Camp, and escaping it works the same way as the others. This area is also where players can find Halsin, leader of the Druids.
Players can pick the lock on the jail cell and sneak out of the Worg Pens manually. Those who don't have lock picks or the proficiency to unlock the door will have to yank the dead elf off the mysterious hole in the other side of the cell and attack the hole until it breaks. This leads outside the pens, and players will be able to fast travel away via a waypoint.
Confiscated equipment will be in one of the chests in front of the cell. Have a different party member grab these to avoid the hassle of sneaking back to the Worg Pens.
