Baldur's Gate 3 is a dream come true for devoted RPG fans. How to Quicksave
- Xbox Series S/X - Open the pause screen and press the Y button to Quicksave.
- PS5 - Open the pause screen and press the Triangle button to Quicksave.
- PC - Press F5 on your keyboard to Quicksave. You do not need to pause the game.
After quicksaving, the game will stop for a second before resuming with an onscreen successful save notification. Keep in mind that there is a limit to the amount of quicksaves that you can have at one time. This limit is 25 and can be increased to 50 in the PC version's save options menu. The limit is lower on consoles and is variable depending on the save size. When the limit has been reached, new quicksaves will begin replacing older ones. The quicksave limit still counts between separate player characters and their respective campaigns. Make sure to manually save if you're switching back and forth regularly between multiple playthroughs.

Quickloading does not revert to the last quicksave, but to the most recent save in general. Remember this to avoid any confusion when loading your saves. Check the load screen often to make sure your saves are intact, as there are some bugs that Larian is still working on, especially with the Xbox version of Baldur's Gate 3.
