Larian Studios is celebrating the passionate Baldur's Gate 3 community by sharing some of the more obscure achievements players have achieved and the rare choices some have made in the massively popular title. Despite being over two years old, Baldur's Gate 3 continues to pull in tens of thousands of players daily, having become the go-to RPG for many fans of the genre.
Winning Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2023 and selling over 15 million copies, Baldur's Gate 3 has become of the most beloved titles of the past decade, finding commercial and critical acclaim for its visuals, storytelling, and vocal performances. While the game's final major content update was released in April, Larian Studios is continuing to maintain the RPG, with Baldur's Gate 3 getting a surprise patch in late July to address several performance issues and bugs. As thousands of players continue to flock to the continent of Faerûn to stop the Absolute from taking over the minds of the masses, the developers have shared some interesting tidbits about what the community has accomplished over the past 24 months.

Baldur's Gate 3 Devs Share Incredible Player Achievements and Rare Choices
In a new Twitter thread, Larian Studios shared some interesting details about Baldur's Gate 3's most obscure achievements and the number of players that have managed to achieve them. According to the post, 1.1 million players have completed the game in Tactician Mode, while less than 4% of users have managed to defeat Gortash in Wyrm's Rock without triggering any traps. Only 1.82 percent of Bard players managed to earn 100 gold from playing music. Multiclassing in Baldur's Gate 3 is common, but an astonishing 2.30 percent multiclassed through every single class in one playthrough without seeking assistance from Withers.
Nearly half a million users have finished Baldur's Gate 3 in Honour Mode, which removes the ability to save scum and ends a run if all party members die in battle. In an even more unbelievable statistic, just over 4,600 players beat Honour Mode using only a Level 1 character. Larian Studios also shared some information about player choices, indicating that Wyll, Gale, and Shadowheart are the most respecced companions in the game. Additionally, since mod support was released last year, over 8,500 mods have been uploaded, with over 265 mod downloads.
While many players were disappointed to learn that Larian Studios wouldn't be working on Baldur's Gate 4, Neil Newbon, the voice actor behind Astarion, recently shared his support for this decision. According to Newbon, the development team is ready to move on to something new, and he feels that the studio made "absolutely the right call." It's unclear whether Baldur's Gate 4 will be made by another studio, but for now, plenty of players seem quite eager to continue their Baldur's Gate 3 journey.
