Going against the grain, content creator Ellevishh has recently put together a cosplay based on Sister Sinda, one of the eerie figures inhabiting the House of Healing from Baldur's Gate 3 Act 2. The end result of her efforts is instantly recognizable as the undead nurse, not least because it nails Sister Sinda's defining feature: a large folded bonnet-style hat with a headdress that obscures the majority of her face, adding to her mystique and creepiness.

Baldur's Gate 3 Sister Sinda Cosplay by Ellevishh

The cosplay photos that Ellevishh shared on social media impressed many Baldur's Gate 3 fans, amassing over 20,000 upvotes and promptly emerging on the front page of the game's largest subreddit. Responding to the resulting outpour of community compliments, the content creator said she was touched and revealed the entire outfit was handmade. "I don't make a lot from scratch, so this was very special to me," she said in response to one fan comment likening her cosplay to an in-game screenshot.

In addition to pouring considerable effort into the cosplay itself, Ellevishh was equally deliberate in choosing a fitting location for the photo shoot—one that would echo Sister Sinda's eerie presence. She ultimately settled on an abandoned train house in Pennsylvania, selecting the site even before completing her recreation of Malus Thorm’s unsettling assistant. Her location of choice ultimately influenced the cosplay itself, as she had to sacrifice some authenticity in order to wear slippers because the entire train house was covered in broken glass.

Ellevishh's Sister Sinda outfit adds to her growing catalog of Baldur's Gate 3 cosplays, which also includes Minthara and Alfira. Elaborating on the specifics of the new design, the cosplayer explained that the hat she created for Sister Sinda lacks cutouts for the eyes. As a result, she is unable to see clearly while in costume and must tilt her head upward to peer down her nose in order to see anything.
