There are 16 characters in Ball x Pit, although players will only have access to one of them when they're first starting out. However, as they complete more of the game's eight stages, they'll begin to find special Blueprints that will allow them to construct new structures back in New Ballbylon.
All Evolutions in Ball x Pit (Ultimate Evolution Guide)
Once players have figured out how to get all of the Evolutions in Ball x Pit, they'll have 60 unique balls at their disposal.
Constructing certain buildings will unlock new characters, which can really help to freshen up the experience. Unlike the default character, all of the unlockable Ball x Pit characters offer unique gameplay quirks, like being able to choose the player's upgrades for them, or even autoplay the stage.
How to Unlock All 16 Ball x Pit Characters
As mentioned above, new Ball x Pit characters are unlocked by finding special Blueprints and then building their respective structures. It's important to note, though, that simply placing the structure will not be enough to unlock the character. Players will need to construct it by having their townspeople crash into it in harvest mode. Blueprints are acquired by completing stages, and as far as we can tell, the order that new characters are unlocked is fixed. Players should unlock most of them just by playing through the game, although they may need to do a bit of grinding after completing it to get the last few.

How to Unlock All Ball x Pit Stages
To unlock new Ball x Pit stages, players will need to earn gears to upgrade the elevator. They'll get a gear each time they complete a stage with a new character, which means they'll need to complete every stage multiple times in order to make it to the end of the game. Thankfully, after completing the first few stages, they'll unlock the Matchmaker Blueprint, which allows them to bring two characters into a stage. Assuming neither of the ones they choose has completed it before, they'll receive two gears upon completion, which can make getting the four and five gears needed for the last few elevator upgrades much easier.
