There are many types of collectibles in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and locked chests happen to be one of them. Players will occasionally stumble upon a locked chest somewhere in all the available regions, and finding the key is necessary if they wish to receive the rewards inside.
Once you arrive at the Hunters’ Camp in the Dark Woods, the quest will direct you to Kate’s location. Somewhere extremely close is the location of the Trapper Reserves Chest, which can be unlocked after locating the correct key.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden - Should You Spare Or Sacrifice Thickskin (Community Pillar)?
While completing The Beast Quest, players will face a difficult choice concerning Thickskin in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.
How To Unlock The Trapper Reserves Chest In Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden
To unlock the Trapper Reserves Chest, Banishers need to find the correct key. These locked chests usually have their keys nearby, so it shouldn’t be a hassle to find. Upon arriving near the Hunters’ Camp, Red is caught in a trap and meets Kate for the first time. Instead of helping him, she tells Red to save himself and come visit her at the camp if he manages to arrive alive. Follow the Main Quest in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and you will eventually reach Kate’s house, which is also Thickskin’s home.
Before speaking with her, you will notice a nearby question mark, which means there’s a Point of Interest in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Climb on top of the house while following the mark, and interact with the locked chest. Since Banishers don’t possess the key yet, it will mark itself on the map for later, so keep that in mind.
Where To Find The Trapper Reserves Chest Key In Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden
The Key to the Trapper Reserves Chest is inside the Hunters’ Camp shelter. After speaking with Kate, she orders Red to go around the village and help the settlers prove his worth. But before diving into any Haunting Cases in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, where players must make a crucial choice, Red and Antea must head to the shelter to rest.
When you enter the shelter, look left to find a shiny item on the table. Pick it up to obtain the Trapper Reserves Chest Key. Now, head back to the chest and open it to receive the Aureola, a level one Brooch for Antea.
