The Assault class has received plenty of changes that made it more team-focused in Battlefield 6, and while it still retains its role as the team's spearhead, it now gives players more ways to breach the enemy's defenses.
In previous Battlefield games, the Assault class' only job was to kill as many enemies as possible, but now, they have a variety of tools they can use to fulfill different roles. In this guide, we'll be going over three loadouts for the Assault class in Battlefield 6 that are designed with different playstyles in mind.
How to Get No Recoil in Battlefield 6
If you think the weapon recoil is a little harsh in Battlefield 6, here are a couple of things you can try to shave some of the shaking off.
The CQB Breacher
Best Close Range Assault Loadout in BF6
|
Primary Weapon |
M433 |
|
Secondary Weapon (Sling) |
M87A1 Shotgun |
|
Gadget |
Breaching Projectile Launcher |
|
Grenade |
Stun Grenade |
|
Melee Weapon |
Sledgehammer |
|
Field Spec |
Breacher |
This loadout focuses on pure close quarters dominance. The M433 is one of the best close-range weapons for the Assault class, and it's available to everyone right from the start, and when you pair it with the M87A1 shotgun, you'll be virtually unbeatable in close range (assuming you can hit your shots).
The Breaching Projectile Launcher acts like a flashbang that can be shot through walls. Use this before you enter a room or cross a threshold, and if needed, follow up with a Stun Grenade to momentarily daze enemies. If you're having trouble entering, use your Sledgehammer to make your own entrance.
The big downside to this loadout is it is only effective on small BF6 maps like Empire State and Saint's Quarter, though it should do well in any game mode that's set inside places with confined spaces.
The Grenadier
Best Assault Grenadier Build in Battlefield 6
|
Weapon |
Any rifle, carbine, or SMG of choice |
|
Gadget 1 |
Assault Ladder |
|
Gadget 2 |
M320A1 HE Launcher |
|
Grenade |
Frag Grenade |
|
Field Spec |
Breacher |
This build is less about entering areas and more about destroying them. The M320A1 HE Launcher is destructive enough to destroy walls and cover, and it's quite good at killing infantry as well. Use your Assault Ladder to gain an off-angle against the enemy, then pepper them with grenades from where they least expect it.
You can use any weapon in Battlefield 6 here, but considering the grenadier playstyle of hanging back and picking off enemies from afar, we recommend using mid-range weapons like the SOR-556 assault rifle and the M277 carbine.
You can eventually replace the Assault Ladder with the Thermobaric Grenade Launcher if you want to make the enemy team suffer.
The Infiltrator
Best Frontline Assault Build in Battlefield 6
|
Weapon |
Any close-medium range weapon |
|
Gadget 1 |
Deploy Beacon |
|
Gadget 2 |
Assault Ladder |
|
Grenade |
Frag Grenade |
|
Field Spec |
Frontliner |
This loadout is specifically meant for capturing objectives. The Frontliner Field Spec in Battlefield 6 buffs your squad with the Adrenaline Injector's effect, and it has a passive that increases your passive health regeneration rate, giving you and your squadmates a better chance at surviving enemy engagements.
The most important part of this loadout is the Deploy Beacon, which players can unlock by reaching Rank 23 and completing the Assault 1 challenge. This serve as a respawn point for you and your squadmates, allowing you all to relentlessly pressure an objective. You'll want to always hide your Deploy Beacons, which is why we recommend bringing an Assault Ladder so you can reach places that the enemy team will have trouble seeing.
