Battlefield 6 players that want a particularly powerful SMG should look no further than the SCW-10. While there are closed weapons playlists that force Battlefield 6 players to stick to class-specific guns, most of the playlists in the game let players mix and match. And now that Battlefield 6 has been released to the masses, certain weapons and loadouts are starting to stand out.
Battlefield 6 features a single-player campaign, but the multiplayer is the meat of the experience. Battlefield 6 multiplayer lets players loose in chaotic, almost fully destructible maps in a variety of game modes, including franchise classics like Rush and Conquest along with FPS staples like Team Deathmatch. Battlefield 6 multiplayer can be a highly competitive experience, and so it's no surprise that many fans are looking for a leg-up in the game.
Battlefield 6 Review: A Chaotic, Non-Stop Blast
Battlefield 6 is an explosive FPS with adrenaline-fueled multiplayer that is truly Battlefield at its best.
How to Unlock SCW-10 in Battlefield 6
- Reach Rank 23
- Inflict 10,000 damage during ADS with SMGs
- 200 close quarter kills with SMGs
At the time of this writing, one of the best weapons Battlefield 6 players can have in their arsenal is the SCW-10. A powerful SMG that can kill enemies in the blink of an eye, the SCW-10 is unlocked by completing the Close Quarters challenge to inflict 10,000 damage during ADS with SMGs and to get 200 close quarter kills with SMGs. The challenge isn't unlocked until level 23, so Battlefield 6 players should keep that in mind. Once players have managed to unlock the SCW-10, they can customize it like other guns in the game, but even its default state is a force to be reckoned with in the right hands.
Leveling up in Battlefield 6 is done by simply earning XP in matches, but there are ways to speed up the process significantly. Battlefield 6 has XP boosters that dramatically speed up the process, plus there are all kinds of XP farms being made in Portal. Battlefield 6 players don't have to look far in the main menu to find Portal XP farms, and those should make the journey to unlocking the SCW-10 much faster.
While the SCW-10 in Battlefield 6 is plenty powerful right now, it's entirely possible that it will be nerfed in future updates. Battlefield Studios is expected to release new updates for Battlefield 6 on a regular basis, and while some of these updates will include brand-new content, other times they will be focused on game balance. If the SCW-10 becomes as much of a menace as it has potential to, one has to imagine that a nerf may be on the way.
