Battlefield 6 will launch with nine maps spread out across the globe, but in the open beta, players will only be able to experience a small selection of the game's maps. During the early access period from August 7th, 2025, and then for the first full weekend for all players on the 9th to 10th, there will be three playable maps: Iberian Offensive, Liberation Peak, and Siege of Cairo. These maps will return for the second weekend (August 14th to 17th), alongside a fourth map, Empire State.

All Maps In The Battlefield 6 Open Beta
These four maps will be available during the beta alongside game modes such as Conquest, Closed Weapon Conquest, Breakthrough, Domination, and King of the Hill, as well as Rush and Squad Deathmatch in the second week.
Iberian Offensive
Iberian Offensive is the first of two maps set on Gibraltar, but this is the larger of the two, with tanks being available. Most of the fighting takes place on the streets, but there is also a fair bit of greenery on one side of the map, with the smoke-filled air serving as a somber backdrop on this otherwise idyllic island.
Liberation Peak
Liberation Peak is easily one of the game's most beautiful maps, set in the mountains of Tajikistan. Naturally, there's lots of open space, with few buildings, making aerial threats even deadlier.
Siege of Cairo
The Siege of Cairo map is set in Egypt's capital, with fighting taking place between infantry and tanks. It promises classic urban warfare, and players are even able to fight from inside half-destroyed buses.
Empire State (Only August 14th-17th)
Empire State is the first of two maps set in New York, and it will be available during the second open beta weekend, which takes place from August 14th to the 17th. Without needing to worry about tanks or attacks from above, players can fight on the rooftops and in the alleyways.

All Battlefield 6 Maps At Launch
On top of the four maps available in the open beta, there will be five additional maps at full launch, meaning Battlefield 6 will have nine maps in total.
On certain game modes, these maps will be sectioned off into smaller areas, meaning there are technically more maps.
Operation Firestorm
Operation Firestorm is a returning map from Battlefield 3, and is perfect for all-out war with ground and air vehicles alongside infantry. This iconic Battlefield map is set in Iran.
Saints Quarter
Saints Quarter is an infantry-only map set in Gibraltar with lots of narrow alleyways. Expect shotguns and SMGs to excel as players round corners and sweep buildings.
New Sobek City
New Sobek City is a map set in Cairo's outskirts, dominated by construction sites, as well as sand dunes. The map will apparently feature infantry battles alongside tanks and attack helicopters.
Mirak Valley
At launch, Mirak Valley will be Battlefield 6's largest map, with every type of vehicle available on the scarred battlefield, which resembles images from the First World War and games like Battlefield 1.
Manhattan Bridge
Manhattan Bridge is the second map set in New York, and it will apparently feature large-scale destruction, although whether this refers to the bridge itself is yet to be seen.
