Battlefield 6 players believe there's a serious problem with the game's hit registration, with some even stating that it "doesn't exist." While Battlefield 6 has only been available for a few days now, those jumping into the game's online multiplayer are quickly discovering that some matches can feel a little off due to what appears to be inconsistent hit registration. This can often be down to an individual's internet connection, but many fans appear to agree that that's not the case this time around.
There might be a few teething problems with the game's online multiplayer, but Battlefield 6 has had a massively successful few days. In the span of a little over 60 minutes, the latest entry in the Battlefield series soared passed Call of Duty's all-time concurrent player count on Steam, achieving more than 747,000 active players on the platform. Of course, this number doesn't take into account how many have jumped in on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, but the figures must be good as Battlefield 6 appears to be dominating sales charts right now.
Pros & Cons of Buying Battlefield 6 for the Single-Player Campaign
Here's a list of pros and cons to help players decide whether they should buy Battlefield 6 just for the single-player story campaign or not.
Battlefield 6 Fans Say Hit Registration "Doesn't Exist"
After launching on October 10, DICE has already addressed several issues and requests related to the game's multiplayer, including deploying a fix for Battlefield 6's movement bug. However, players are now eager to see the studio provide an update on the hit registration problems. In a new post on Reddit, one user said it feels like Battlefield 6's hit registration "just doesn't exist." They then displayed their evidence with a clip where it seems pretty obvious that they should have gotten the kill, but were somehow eliminated, despite firing first and being perfectly on target.
With more than 4,000 upvotes and nearly one thousand comments at the time of writing, it's clear that fellow players seemingly agree. One user responded by saying they "thought it was [there] ping," but it's clear that's not the case. Another specifically commented on OP's clip, saying, "4 out of 9 shots not landing where you’re aiming at close range is ridiculous." The comments don't stop there, either, as players share their thoughts on the questionable hit registration, with some even going as far as to say that Battlefield 6 felt better to play during the beta.
Although the overall reception to the latest Battlefield game has been extremely positive, this isn't the only issue fans have had with the game so far. Many players are seemingly upset with the size of Battlefield 6's maps, which was also a major topic during its beta. EA assured fans before the game's launch that there would be enough variety for those who want smaller-scale battles and those seeking classic Battlefield chaos on larger maps. However, players still seem unhappy, with some saying the game isn't fun to play because of it.
