The full list of licensed songs in Battlefield 6 has apparently leaked, revealing the contribution of Limp Bizkit, Snoop Dogg, and other popular musicians to the game's soundtrack. The latest Battlefield 6 development follows a long period of speculation about the game's licensed music and possible featured artists.
Throughout the Battlefield series of games, every entry has mainly relied on original songs to stimulate the game's players. However, there are certain exceptions that have gone on to be heavily associated with licensed songs, such as Battlefield Vietnam, which was immortalized by its '60s rock-centric soundtrack. The upcoming chapter, Battlefield 6, may shape up to be yet another title of that kind, as is suggested by the host of third-party songs from well-known artists being leaked for the game.
This New Battlefield 6 Map Feels Like a Better Version of a Forgotten BF4 Gem
Some tweaks to an underrated BF4 map's design philosophy has left one of Battlefield 6's newest maps looking like it could be an instant classic.

- "Battlefield: The After-party" by Henry Jackman & Limp Bizkit
According to Battlefield Bulletin's Twitter post, Battlefield 6 will reportedly feature licensed songs from a wide variety of artists, ranging from Drowning Pool to Dr Dre. In addition to that, it was shared that the game would pack as many as 14 licensed tracks for the in-game vehicle radio. Apart from Limp Bizkit, who features three times in the soundtrack, players will also be able to tune into Godsmack, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pantera, and more contributors. It was revealed that two songs, "Making Love to Morgan Wallen" by Limp Bizkit and "Battlefield: The After-party," a collaborative project between the same band and Henry Jackman, play during the final credits of the game. Moreover, the latter song is understood to have been written and composed by the same people behind Battlefield 2042.
As evident through the inclusion of the aforementioned tracks, metal and rock are going to be the two key genres in Battlefield 6. Keeping in mind the importance of in-game destruction as a core gameplay aspect, this artistic choice for the game's music appears to be a suitable one. Such high-pitched, fast-paced song genres are also a good fit for Battlefield 6's highly competitive nature and hold the potential to enthuse the players in the heat of the battle.
With less than a month remaining befor its October 10 release, Battlefield 6 is now painfully close to its arrival, after an emphatically successful open beta. Since its rival franchise, Call of Duty, is scheduled to roll out a new Black Ops title on November 14, it won't be long until the two FPS brands are competing for supremacy once again. Owing to Battlefield 6's major promise this time around, there has been strong chatter about the EA shooter giving Activision's shooter a run for its money.
