Alongside infantry combat, Battlefield 6 offers a variety of different vehicles for players to pilot and dominate their matches. Battlefield 6 offers everything from ground transport and infantry fighting vehicles to huge tanks like the M1 Abrams for players to operate, putting players in charge of the powerful war machines. Early sales and concurrent player stats show that Battlefield 6 is having one of EA’s best game launches to date with Call of Duty-like numbers.

Several fans have recently discovered a major strategy that allows users to quickly dispatch jets without warning for the aerial fighters. The strategy involves using tank gunners to hit aircrafts with paint, allowing laser-guided missiles to lock onto jets and helicopters in mid-air. The tactic notably makes use of an ongoing bug in Battlefield 6 where pilots of painted helicopters and jets are not receiving an "incoming missile" message, causing players to not be able to properly respond to missile fire. Neither EA nor Battlefield Studios have made an official statement about the strategy or the bug.

Battlefield 6 Anti-Jet Strategy is Broken

The ability for players to strike down aerial enemies without warning could have a major impact on the viability of jets and helicopters in Battlefield 6. Many fans have pointed out that the issue is often specifically related to infantry fighting vehicles, able to easily utilize paint to mark jets for quick, unexpected takedowns. Many users in a Reddit post complaining about the bug have suggested that the strategy is game-breaking, with players even able to down multiple aircrafts at spawn points or from across the map.

The ongoing bug with Battlefield 6's anti-aircraft missiles comes as the shooter has already made plenty of changes to fix up the game following its launch. Battlefield 6 recently revealed its "Week 1" update with a focus on community experience and XP progression within the shooter, addressing several "XP farm" servers and increasing XP gains. EA and DICE have also been actively working to fix bugs and community complaints within the game, frequently pushing new patches for the shooter. Battlefield 6's focus on improving the game after its launch looks to help maintain its strong early momentum.
