A leaker has given fans a new look at what will be Battlefield 6's largest map at launch. EA has not been shy about the details of its upcoming shooter, but there are still some things it has tried to keep under wraps that others have leaked to the public. It didn't take long after the Battlefield 6 open beta ended for playtesters to reveal more information.

Battlefield 6 color filters could be problematic

The latest in the long-running Battlefield series recently wrapped up a massively successful open beta, but some lucky fans are still playtesting the project. EA brought back Battlefield Labs on August 29 to help fine-tune the game before its October release. Perhaps unsurprisingly, new details about the game almost immediately leaked after Labs began again.

Battlefield 6 Open Beta Smashes a Franchise Record

EA confirms that Battlefield 6's open beta has demolished a franchise record as players keep swarming to the game before its full release.

Battlefield Labs Leak Reveals New Look at Mirak Valley Map

Several leaked videos preserved by MP1st offer a closer look at Mirak Valley from the latest Battlefield Labs build, which wasn't in the open beta but will appear in the final game at launch. It's already been confirmed that Mirak Valley will be Battlefield 6's largest map at launch, but the leaks give fans a real glimpse at what it looks like and just how big it is. The footage reveals multiple buildings, open spaces, and several vehicle types, showcasing varied gameplay and a much larger experience than what players got a taste of in the beta.

The sheer scale of Mirak Valley may come as a relief for some who participated in the open beta. Some Battlefield 6 players said the beta's maps were too small for the game's 64-player matches. While the latest Battlefield has toned things down from the 128-player lobbies of 2042, some of the early maps may have felt a little too small even for matches half that size. Thankfully, it seems like EA is offering a good deal of variety in the full game, as the leaked gameplay of Mirak Valley shows a more dispersed, slower-paced experience than what the beta's smaller areas offered.

Overlooking a bridge in Battlefield 6

Earlier leaks had revealed that Battlefield 6's Mirak Valley is seven times bigger than Siege of Cairo, which featured in the game's open beta. That scale is evident in the new footage, although it's worth noting that things could still change between the current Battlefield Labs build and the final version of the game. The additional weather effects some fans have called for are also nowhere to be seen in the videos, so it's uncertain whether EA will implement such features later. Players won't need to wait long to find out, though, with Battlefield 6 set for an October 10 release.
