Battlefield 6's preload period is universal, beginning on August 4 at 8:00 a.m. PT (3:00 p.m. UTC). The option to download the beta client should appear across all major storefronts, including the Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store, Epic Games, EA App, and Steam. Players without an Early Access code can still preload the game, but they will have to wait until August 9 for the first global playtest. Those with a code, however, can download the beta and start playing as early as August 7 at 1 a.m. PT (8 a.m. UTC).

There is also a plethora of unique rewards for Open Beta players to unlock and use in the alpha edition.
