Battlefield 6 players on PC are experiencing some frustrating issues when playing with a PlayStation 5 controller. The issue has been acknowledged by a Battlefield 6 developer, who claims a fix is on the way.
Although Battlefield 6 has seemingly managed to avoid any game-breaking issues, players are still reporting smaller bugs that Battlefield Studios will hopefully work towards fixing in the coming weeks and months. For example, the Battlefield 6 bug that allows players to ride drones into the sky is still causing chaos for players, with no fix announced.

Battlefield 6 on PC Has Problematic Deadzones With PS5 Controllers
Some players have reported that Battlefield 6 on PC has major issues with deadzones on PlayStation 5 controllers, which is making micro-adjustments while aiming particularly difficult. Battlefield 6 combat developer Julian Manolov has responded to the problem, claiming, "we have a low level compa tibility issue with the Sony controllers on PC right now - the "deadzones" you feel (it's actually 10% stick range cut), being applied before the deadzones support of the game itself." According to Manolov, the developer is working to fix the problem in a future Battlefield 6 update.
Manolov also points out that the issue shouldn't be happening with an Xbox controller, so those who are playing on PC but don't want to use a mouse and keyboard still have a solution for now. Whether Battlefield 6 should be played with a controller or mouse and keyboard is down to personal preference, but at least soon things will be working as intended.
The next few months are going to be massive for Battlefield 6. The game's RedSec battle royale mode recently launched to a mixed response, while Battlefield 6 Season 1 also began at the same time. It's this period, as the content starts to drop, that will determine the staying power that the already massively-succesful Battlefield 6 will have long-term.
